Devil's Courthouse NC
Legends passed down from the Cherokee nation from long ago to present day all tell a tale of the caves at the peak that the devil supposedly holds his court of judgement there. Cherokee legend states the caves under the rock is also the devil's dancing chamber and the home of a slant-eyed giant called Judaculla. We found it to be active with strange lights in the sky, changing color and pulsing from dim to extremely bright. Some equipment (camera) was having electronic malfunctions while there. We did capture EVPs from the parking area where it is told an indian lady killed herself by a tree on the bank. This place calls for another investigation sometime soon.
