UFOs is a topic I am familiar with.
Since I was around fourteen years old I have had numerous sightings myself with about six or seven different types of crafts. It all started in Pennsylvania in 1974 with three silver ball bearing metallic objects above the mountain crest. They seemed to stop and start as I was walking with a friend from the store. Every time I would stop and watch them they stopped and hovered, This lasted around twenty minutes before they zipped straight upward and out of sight. I was young and had never heard of UFOs before so I wrote it off as not understanding what I saw. A year or two went by and I started having strange dreams of rooms I had never saw before, round rooms with really bright lights in the ceiling above me. These continued for a while and each one was different along with waking up in a different spot every time. I remember waking up in reverse of how I went to bed (head at the foot of the bed), another time I woke up downstairs sitting on the couch and didn't remember how I got there, Mom said I was probably sleep walking. This went on for a while, till I was around eighteen. I have one vivid image that's plastered in my mind and it hasn't faded from that time. I was sitting in my parents bedroom at the window facing out towards the hill across the street, it was real early in the morning and dark outside, the image I still see in my mind today is of a extremely large saucer shaped disk hovering over about six houses. The lights on it were more brilliant than any neon light made today and evenly spaced apart with small running lights in between that rotated the craft in sequence with about a 20 second delay. The larger lights illuminated the whole area with Green, Blue, Silver and Gold bursts. I am sitting there waving goodbye to it.
When I turned eighteen and graduated from High School I moved to Cleveland Ohio for work and a girl that moved back there that I was dating. I did not have anymore sightings until 2004, I was into photography by then and living in Euclid Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland where I was fasinated by cloud formations and unusual rock formations that I loved taking pictures of. I was at a favorite hangout the local Sunoco talking to friends and taking cloud pictures, when I got home and uploaded them to my computer there was one picture with a dark dot between the cloud break. I emailed it to a friend who in return sent it to a friend,a general with the Air Force for him to see it. they enhanced it and was told it was unusual and not ordinary conventional aircraft and that's the last I heard of it. I still have the origional photograph that is posted below. Since then I have them pop up in photographs every so often but did not see them with my own eyes as is the next time. In September of 2008 the weather forecast was calling for waterspouts on Lake Erie so I went there to catch photos of them, it was overcast and windy, the lake was choppy but no waterspouts. I stayed there for about two hours and gave up seeing one so I took a panaramic series of shots of the lake and went home to upload them, low and behold there was one shot that had them coming out of the lake as you see in the top page photo. This brings us to now, in November of 2011 I moved to Greenville, South Carolina to live, the weather is great, my joints don't hurt as I had a knee injury and authur set in. At this point I had got into a habbit of looking up to the skys when ever I went outside. Today is August 16, 2013 and for the past week there have been lights in the sky above Parris Mountain just after dark until wee hours in the morning. Where I live is about three miles from it and can watch it them from the back of my complex. They look brighter than stars and explode with a brilliant white light then dim down again, I have watched them shoot a beam of light from the craft down to the woods and light up a section of the woods, then shoot a beam to another craft waiting. This totally amazes me that almost nobody notices it up on the mountain as it is in plain sight if you look around. I took a friend out to watch it and she witnessed it also. I am in the process of looking for a low lux video camcorder to record this event. I'm hoping they stay around for a while as I enjoy watching them in the night sky.
