Poinsett Bridge Travelers Rest SC
The third visit to Poinsett Bridge, I had a series of camera malfunctions so I didn't get a lot of pictures myself. I'm waiting to see what Matt captured on video and EVPs. Matt and the crew got there early around 10 pm to setup their equipment and a tent in case it rained, I had prior commitments and arrived there at midnight to join them.
We conducted an investigation until 3:00 am, Matt had a grid light and a camcorder setup on a tripod and saw a spirit cross through the grid. A grid works by projecting green dots in a pattern form and when anything crosses through the grid the lights are blocked enabling you to see a form so to speak. Matt heard a scream, dog barking and some whistles along with drum beats. I also captured drum beats on my recordings along with a few disembodied voices. A lot of the images I captured were blurry and some were just no picture at all, the camera just wouldn't flash. We did hear lot's of knocks, thumps, voices and a possible bobcat or puma jump out of a tree. This was too loud to be paranormal and you could hear it's four feet hit the ground, although we never saw it, it was real close to where we were standing. This was the deciding factor for the safety of everyone that we should wrap it up for the night. We left with the feeling of a good investigation although shortened by our visitor. Again sorry for the blurry photos sometimes spirits can affect the way electronics work by either draining the battery, out of focus photos, equipment just not working at all.
